The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was good with walking distance to museums.
Room: The room was very basic and outdated. Just a dark box with a cheap chair and a bed. Having staying in similarly priced hotels in Paris, I expected more for the money. internet: The internet connection is horrible. The website advertises that Wifi is available in the rooms, and it is not. You can only get a signal down in the lobby, and the connection is really finicky and unreliable. elevator: the lift is so small you can only fit one person or one suitcase in it (never seen anything like it). Not good for families or groups.

The hotel is a very clean and tidy, how ever it located few steps from the Luover. One littele thing i didnot like about thehotel that the lift was small, so dont bring with you more than one big bag or els you have to load them and go back to upload the rest of your luggeges. Arab ppl may not like the size of the room, but if you are looking for a good deal, this hotel will be on of the best.
the size of the lift.

Location.
Everything else. It is very poor and not worth the price. Free wifi in all rooms is promised - there was no wifi available anywhere. Plumbing was faulty. No AC and in summer it would be stifling. With windows open it is very noisy. You should not carry this hotel on your site.

Hotel has two types of rooms. Those facing street are quite cozy and even romantic (had a view with Louvre and Musee d'Orsay from a window of 6 floor room) but rooms with the window to the backyard are very dark. Excellent location for museums during the day and parties at night.
Could be a little bit cleaner

It was near where I had to work the next morning.
The only thing important for me in a hotel of this category is that there should be wifi in the room so that I can answer my mail, pass time on the internet since French tv is often only in French. The website of Booked.net said Wifi in the whole hotel. The receptionist said no: wifi only in the lobby. He refused to give me the code unless I come down to the small lobby to try the code. He wanted to charge me 12 Euros for the breakfast (more expensive than even the regular customers). So, all in all, I got the impression that the Booked.net pricing was not to his liking.

I liked the fact that it was clearly an old style French hotel with its narrow winding staircase but that did pose some problems for my friend who had some mobility problems . There is a lift but it is very small and does pose some problems for anyone who is claustrophobic.
The only thing I did not like was my ensuite bathroom which was much in need of refurbishment and did not have a hairdryer despite the statement on line that all rooms had a hairdryer. Any recommendation of the hotel would have to be accompanied with a caution that the bathroom might not be of acceptable standard.

Just the location.
The hotel seems to be an improvisation. My room was extremely small, the elevator is tiny, the breakfast room also extremely small and the coffee is too expensive. The hotel is very expensive for what is offered to the guest. The wifi internet is not exactly wifi, since you should connect your computer to their computer that is at the reception.

Hotel staff were exceptional. The room was very clean, if a little basic. This is a good option for a value hotel in central Paris. The tiny elevator is something to be experienced!
The room was tiny and very basic. The bedside lamp didn't work and the shower didn't hold up in the fitting. Quite run down, but still very clean.

The bedrooms were smaller than we imagined.

Excellent location in a well-to-do French neighborhood. A block away on Rue du Bac is a fantastic artisan bread/pastry shop, and a classy cafe/bar with excellent coffee and friendly staff.. You can eat your pastries in this cafe buying a coffee for breakfast. . Around the corner is a deli that does excellent baguette sandwiches and salads. Eat them up the street across Pont Royal in the Tuileries gardens looking at the Louvre. The hotel is very old but very clean, has comfortable beds, quiet street, tiny elevator, ancient wood stairs, usual inadequate shower. Wifi in the lobby. Very very helpful staff..Metro Rue du Bac about 8 min walk. Opentour/Batobus stops about 8 min walk.
Hair dryer didnt work. Hotel Website says wifi in every room, but actually only in the lobby. The stairs that are not carpeted are difficult to walk down since they are very uneven. The shower head wont stay upright but flops over.

Location is ideal. Just 2 blocks from the Seine river, and also 2 blocks from the Museé de Orsay. Close to many fine restaurants, Metro stations, etc.
Rooms are small, as one would expect from an older hotel in a very popular, densely populated neighborhood in Paris.

Good location near metro and innte city sites. friendly helpful staff. nice atmosphere in are arond it with foodstuffs store on the corner outside.
Very small but functional elevator for one at a time. all lights not working and difficult to read in the room. could do with better signage outside as it is easy to miss.

Great location close to Metro Rue du Bac. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend.
Building works happening across the road, which were at times quiet noisy. But presume this is a short term problem. Would not put me off staying again.
